Construction of the Nebraska Medicine health center will begin in late summer 2025, with more tenant announcements expected in the coming months.
Nebraska Medicine and Noddle Companies plan to build a 125,000-square-foot health center at the Gretna Landing development. The project, announced last week, is set to break ground later this summer and open to patients in the second half of 2027, according to the health network.
Located less than one-half hour from Omaha, Gretna Landing is a 31-acre mixed-use development that will feature a blend of office space, retail stores, restaurants, and residential units. Modeled after Omaha’s successful Aksarben Village, Gretna Landing aims to become a community hub.
The Nebraska Medicine health center will be an anchor tenant of the development, providing services including:
Site preparation and construction are scheduled to begin later this summer, with Noddle Companies managing development and infrastructure. Additional tenants for the Gretna Landing site will be announced in the coming months, with a mix of commercial and residential projects anticipated.
Gretna Landing presents a potential pipeline of construction opportunities in healthcare, commercial tenant fit-outs, and mixed-use verticals.
Nebraska Medicine and its academic partner, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, offer broad access to doctors, specialty centers, and hospitals. They deliver advanced care through over 800 beds and 9,000 staff.
